When planning distribution in Istanbul, delivery time, acceptance capacity and the method of reaching people in need matter as much as the institution’s name.
Diyanet’s guidance on arrangements by proxy discusses giving the meat to people in need and charities with the person’s consent. It helps to record which recipient and action this consent covers. A vague promise of help somewhere does not replace a concrete delivery plan.
Travel times within Istanbul vary by day and area. Agree a realistic schedule with the institution rather than compressing slaughter, preparation and delivery windows. Discuss cold storage and same-day use capacity too. Leaving meat at the door when an institution cannot accept it should not count as completed service.
A recipient list shown to users should contain only institutions whose relationship has been verified. A familiar name does not prove an agreement with the business. A delivery record may include the date, authorized recipient and matching order. Images of beneficiaries’ faces or private lives should not be treated as the only way to show transparency.
